Small time blocks - Big progress
I’m so grateful that creating big, beautiful paintings doesn’t require big, uninterrupted blocks of time. I’m living proof: you can build a meaningful body of work (for me, that’s usually 40+ paintings a year) simply by painting a little more often than not…
A New Beginning in the Studio
Natalie begins this new painting by sketching in the concept with a thick graphic pencil, misting with water, then re-tracing the lines with her finger to darken the lines.

It’s the clearest, most direct message your intuition will ever send you.
I wish I had understood this sooner…
Balancing act: How discernment enhances intuitive painting

It’s my art-iversary today
It’s so crazy synchronstic that my professional art journey side gig began five years ago today, when I commenced a goal to paint “a little bit” everyday. This is a video of me doing a happy dance five years ago when I sold my first painting. (Artist Natalie Eve Marquis in YouTube Video celebrating first painting sold)
Why making art matters in a troubled world

Intuitive green lights in painting
Intuition can be a powerful guide in decision-making, yet many people struggle to trust their inner guide, especially when it comes to crucial choices like selecting a romantic partner, choosing a career path, or determining their next life step. As an intuition coach, I’ve encountered countless individuals who’ve lost faith in their decision-making abilities. My response? “You can absolutely trust yourself!” I introduce them to a simple yet effective…
