Special secret project

Art

I spent months working on a special project in secret.

I kept this passion project close to my heart and my lips sealed. I did this for several reasons:

  • I wanted to make sure I actually finished the project. It was a long-term commitment—and to be honest, some ideas simply lose their spark and never reach completion. I didn’t want this project to become one of those abandoned dreams.

  • I didn’t want to waste the vibrant energy that strikes when inspiration hits. Inspiration arrives as both an idea and a powerful emotion that is meant to propel us into action. I’ve found that talking about an idea too much (or over-researching it) can drain that creative force before anything real gets made. It’s not that the idea isn’t good—it’s that too much time sharing and not enough time creating lets the project fizzle out. Sharing our ideas can feel nice, but it gives us a false sense of accomplishment, almost as if we’ve already done the work. The real magic, though, happens in the act of creating: that’s what fuels new sparks and keeps us moving forward.

  • The project took an unexpected and deeply personal turn. That twist made me want to sit with it for a while, making sure I was truly ready to share it with the world.

Now, as the project nears completion, I’m excited to peel back the curtain. Next week, I’ll be sharing more about this special journey—and giving you a look into the creative process that brought it to life. Stay tuned; you won’t want to miss what’s coming!

In the meantime, check out this my new Twilight Blooms painting.
