Art in the garden
My first outdoor painting experience was absolutely magical!
The day was radiant, filled with sunshine and a gentle, refreshing breeze—ideal weather for painting outside during the Poetry Slam Garden Party hosted by Art Up Front Street. My inspiration was a stunning hydrangea bush bursting with enormous, vibrant blue blooms, which set the perfect mood for creativity.
Painting in the garden was a delight!
To make the experience even more special, local poets shared their beautiful verses and musicians filled the air with live music as I painted. This blending of art, poetry, and music felt like a real celebration of creativity. Once the readings concluded, people from the event strolled over, eager to chat and see how my painting was progressing. It was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces and to make new friends, sharing stories and inspiration in such an uplifting atmosphere.
Here’s the painting I made durning the event.
