With Winterberry Joy, I wanted to capture the vibrancy and resilience of winterberries against the icy blues and whites of a cold winter day. The red berries really pop, don’t they? It’s like a little burst of life and warmth in the middle of all that frost. I played with textures and layers to give it some energy and depth, and I think it turned out beautifully.
Winterberries have such a cool meaning, too. They symbolize endurance and renewal—kind of like a reminder that even in tough times, there’s still beauty and hope. I love how they thrive in winter, almost like nature’s way of saying, “Keep going; brighter days are ahead.”
