Wild & Whimsical Spirlt Animals - June 13, 2026
Saturday, June 13, 2026
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Art Up Front Street, 120 Front St., Exeter, NH
$150 per person — canvas and all art supplies included
From playful chaos to soulful presence…
What happens when you begin a painting with no plan, lots of color, and full permission to play—and invite a spirit animal to guide the way?
Something unexpected, meaningful, and very much alive emerges.
In this fun-filled, full-day workshop, you’ll be invited to connect with a Wild & Whimsical Spirit Animal—either through a guided meditation I’ll send you before the workshop, or by choosing a wild animal that already resonates with you. Whatever animal appears or calls to you is the one you’ll bring to life on canvas.
We’ll begin the day by creating a mixed-media playground using acrylic paint, collage, marks, stencils, pastels, and intuitive experimentation. Think layers, movement, bold color, and curiosity leading the way. No pressure. No perfection. Just play.
Once your surface is rich with energy and texture, I’ll guide you step-by-step in using negative space painting, simple outlining, and facial details to reveal your spirit animal from within the abstract layers. Your animal will gradually come into focus—expressive, symbolic, and entirely your own.
This process is designed to help you loosen up, trust your intuition, and experience how painting freely first can lead to more powerful, soulful results. You’ll leave not only with a vibrant spirit animal painting, but with a creative approach you can return to again and again.
