Are you ready to enjoy a day of creative play and experimentation as you learn to create wild and whimsical spirit animals with mixed media? In this playshop, you’ll learn how paint intuitively as you explore using color, mark making tools, collage and more to bring your spirit animal to life. Want to loosen up and be more free in your creative process, then this workshop is definitely for you! Once you learn this approach, you can apply to it anything.
WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE
– Have fun working freely and intuitively.
– Get comfortable and confident with color.
– Learn to work in layers to create visual depth and interest.
– Work with a variety of mixed media elements, including acrylic paints, markers, pastel, collage, stamps, stencils, and a variety of mark making tools.
– Discover an easy outlining and glazing technique to make your animal standout and shine.
– Create a one-of-a-kind spirit animal and work of art to take home with you!
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Anyone who wants to explore painting and mixed media. No experience is necessary. The emphasis is on play and experimentation.
