Welcome to a day where paint splashes on purpose, layers build stories, and “mistakes” are secretly the best part.
Mixed Media Magic is a playful, curiosity-led workshop designed to help you loosen up, try new things, and rediscover the joy of experimenting—without pressure, perfection, or overthinking. We’ll move through short, inspiring demos followed by lots of hands-on play, so you can jump right in and see what unfolds.
Students will begin one or two mixed-media paintings, layering techniques as we go and letting intuition take the lead. Expect works in progress, happy surprises, and plenty of ideas to carry back into your own art practice.
Everything you need is provided—so you can freely explore materials you may not have at home. We’ll mix acrylics, watercolors, pastels, gel sticks, colored pencils, markers, charcoal, collage, and more. Even everyday household items may sneak their way into the art-making fun.
